Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in California. Start date ASAP with scheduling Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, and occasional travel to area clinics. See 20–25 patients per day in an urgent care setting.

California license, BLS, DEA, and DOT are required; credentialing timeframe around 2 weeks. AMN provides malpractice coverage and travel/lodging support for contractors.

Qualifications

• California state medical license required.
• BLS, DEA, DOT certification preferred.
• Board certification in family medicine or occupational medicine a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational medicine evaluation and care in urgent care setting.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8a–5p; float to area clinics; 20–25 patients per day.
• Maintain credentialing and compliance; ensure licensure and certifications are current.

This facility is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP) forlocum tenens support as they look to fill acurrent need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday 8a-5p. Will float to area clinics.
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Practice Setting: Urgent Care Clinic
• State Licensure: California state medical license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Board Certified and Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks
