Job summary

ProActive Work Health Services in Ontario, CA, is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to support occupational health imaging in a fast-paced clinic. You will perform radiographs, ensure patient safety, and maintain regulatory compliance across providers and clinical teams.

The role requires completing a radiologic technology program, active state licensure, and experience with digital radiography. You will collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and staff to keep workflow efficient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of Limited Scope / Basic / LMRT / NCT Radiologic Technology program
• Active state licensure (as applicable)
• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
• Experience in occupational health, urgent care, or industrial medicine preferred
• Working knowledge of digital radiography systems
• Fast-paced occupational health clinic environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures while ensuring comfort, safety, and professionalism
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic radiographs as ordered by the provider
• Maintain a repeat rate of 2% or less through proper positioning, exposure technique, and equipment handling
• Follow all radiation safety standards, ALARA principles, and clinic protocols
• Accurately document imaging procedures in the EMR system
• Assist providers with imaging review and workflow coordination
