Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, seeks an Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a temp contract in Long Beach, CA. The assignment starts ASAP and runs from September 30 through December 7, with full-time hours and no nights or weekends.

The RN will perform nursing assessments, triage and education, wellness activities, medical surveillance, and on-site emergency response, using EMR and MS Office. California RN license and 3+ years in occupational health or related fields are required,

Qualifications

Active/unrestricted RN license in California
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, School Nursing, Corrections or Family Medicine type setting
Recent clinical experience and computer literacy

Responsibilities

Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
Provide wellness materials/information
Medical surveillance exams (ie Respiratory Medical Clearance)
Provide medical testing such as pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
Refer to higher level of care
Respond to emergencies and provide emergency medical care for employees onsite
