Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN opportunity in Cleveland, OH. The nurse will provide onsite occupational health support, including hearing exams, physicals, and treatment of work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.

Responsibilities include triaging injured employees, serving on the first response team, and coordinating care until EMS arrives. Various shifts are available, with pay ranging from $32–$45 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license and BLS certification are required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Urgent Care/Occupational Health or related field.

Responsibilities

• Administers professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees.
• Performs and evaluates various clinical and diagnostic tests.
• Assists plant physician in minor surgical procedures.
• Interviews and documents medical history of employees.
• Works effectively with the Health Services team and other departments.
• Maintains appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Performs and documents physical exam.
• Adheres to common practices and procedures throughout the department.
• Maintains equipment and supplies.
• Assists with the promotion of plant wellness program.
• Interfaces with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner.
