Job summary

San Ramon Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee occupational and employee health services for hospital staff. The role includes first responder duties for work injuries, participation in return-to-work processes, and collaboration with HR, physicians, and management to ensure high-quality care and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a California RN license, a current BLS certification, and 5+ years of RN experience with employee health exposure.

Qualifications

• RN with California licensure and current BLS
• 5+ years of recent RN experience
• Experience in Employee Health (occupational health) required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of clinical patient care for hospital employees to ensure quality and satisfaction
• Act as first responder to work injuries and participate in return-to-work and fit-for-duty processes
• Coordinate with Human Resources, physicians, and employees; manage documentation
• Assist with Workers' Compensation claims and cost containment in claims management
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and hospital policies; participate in hazard communications and safety programs
• Monitor employee health status, provide routine preventive care, and support annual and new hire requirements
