Bon Secours Mercy Health in Springfield, OH seeks a dedicated Occupational Health Physician to join our OH/ES clinics on a full-time basis. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for work-related injuries, employee health services, and episodic care within a collaborative OH/ES setting.

Qualifications

• Current American Board-Certified Physician
• Current, unrestricted Ohio DEA and Medical License
• Minimum two years of active clinical experience
• Background in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Occupational Health preferred
• Ability to practice independently with sound clinical judgment
• DOT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire
• Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage occupational health and episodic care patients
• Assess work-related injuries and determine appropriate treatment and restrictions/referrals
• Perform minor procedures within scope and training
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Educate patients on care plans and return-to-work expectations and wellness initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
