Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks an Occupational Health Nurse-RN to provide focused nursing care in our poultry complex, assess illnesses and injuries, and manage OSHA and workers’ compensation records.

Responsibilities include drug screening coordination, first aid and emergency care, coordinating with health managers, leading wellness initiatives, maintaining the EMR, and promoting safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years nursing experience; occupational health experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and recordkeeping requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; multilingual preferred.
• Experience in Workers' Compensation administration and case management.

Responsibilities

• Review post offer medical history and refer per protocol.
• Administer drug and alcohol testing per company policy.
• Administer first aid and emergency care within RN scope and guidelines.
