Job summary
MEDIC is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for our California occupational health team. The NP will perform physicals, pre-employment exams, and manage preventive care for workers in Rocklin, Sacramento, and Fairfield.
The ideal candidate holds CA NP licensure, national certification, and strong clinical judgment with excellent communication. You will collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy clinic setting.
Qualifications
- Current CA NP license and national certification.
- Graduate degree from an accredited NP program.
- Experience in primary care, occupational health, urgent care, or family medicine preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical evaluations.
- Conduct pre-employment and occupational health exams.
- Obtain patient histories and assess current health conditions.
- Order and review lab tests and diagnostics.
- Perform or oversee EKG testing as appropriate.
- Develop treatment plans and manage common illnesses and conditions.
