Overview
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to support health services within a corporate/industrial environment. This role focuses on delivering direct care, clinical case management, workplace injury/illness response, and return‑to‑work coordination to ensure employee health, safety, and productivity.
A background in Occupational Health Nursing is required — resumes without this experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment and care for occupational injuries, illnesses, and workplace exposures
- Coordinate case management from injury onset to safe return‑to‑work or alternative placement
- Support non‑occupational illnesses occurring onsite and determine immediate care needs
- Assess client needs using health records, employer input, and provider collaboration
- Create individualized care plans focusing on prevention, recovery, and improved health outcomes
- Conduct workplace assessments and identify opportunities to reduce incidents
- Assist supervisors and employees with work restrictions, accommodations, and modified duties
- Collaborate with internal EHS teams, management, and third‑party providers
- Maintain compliant, confidential medical documentation in line with regulatory standards
- Provide onsite health counseling and promote wellness initiatives
- Support development of occupational health processes, policies, and safety programs
- Participate in professional development to maintain required competencies
Qualifications & Requirements
- Occupational Health Nursing experience (required — without this profile will be rejected)
- Active nursing licensure
- Experience in workplace clinical care, injury assessment, and case management
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and workplace safety programs
Preferred
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or similar high‑risk environments
- Knowledge of health promotion, early intervention strategies, and disability management
- Strong communication, documentation, and decision‑making skills
