Corning Inc. is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to assess and treat employees for work-related illnesses and injuries, maintaining confidential health records and coordinating medical interventions.

The role enforces health standards, communicates with staff and leadership, and supports health services leadership. Responsibilities include on-site nursing assessments, documentation, emergency response management, disability processing, and absence management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years RN experience; Occupational Health preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• COHN or COHN-S certification.
• Ability to manage emergency response and return-to-work processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments for illnesses and injuries.
• Maintain documentation per OSHA or equivalent standards while protecting privacy.
• Manage site medical Emergency Response Program.
• Guide disability processes and liaise with insurers and benefits teams.
• Support absence management and early safe return-to-work accommodations.
• Perform medical surveillance per OHSA or similar standards.
• Interact with medical providers as needed.
