Job summary

St. Joseph's/Candler in Savannah, GA is seeking a Staff Nurse for occupational health to support co-worker health and wellness programs. You will provide occupational health services and conduct WC assessments to ensure employees are fit for their roles.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and 2-3 years of staff nursing experience, with preference for 1-2 years in occupational health. A state nursing license is required.

Qualifications

• Professional License with State of Practice required.

Responsibilities

• Annual co-worker evaluations; follow up and referrals per policy.
• Vaccination programs, Drug Free workplace, TB surveillance, respirator fit testing, post-exposure treatment and other testing.
• Worksite evaluations, ergonomics and Job Placement reviews as needed; oversee testing by PCT staff and confirm non-negative drug screens.
• Collaborate with sponsoring physician to establish protocols and clinical guidelines; administer programs; maintain documentation and report trends.

• Staff Nurse responsible for providing clinical services through co-worker health/wellness programs. Provides a variety of occupational health services to ensure co-workers are functioning in optimal physical condition and are physically suited for their position. Provides Worker's Compensation assessments for co-workers injured on the job.
