Job summary

Concentra in Charlotte, NC seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide primary medical direction and coordinate occupational health care. The role emphasizes patient-focused care and adherence to company protocols with opportunities for RVU and quarterly bonuses.

Ideal candidates hold a related health degree, active licensure, PA/NP program graduation, board certification, NRCME and DEA credentials; FMCSA certification is required prior to start date and CME support is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health field from an accredited college or university.
• State licensure requirements to practice.
• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Board Certification in occupational/urgent care medicine.
• FMCSA NRCME certification required (training provided if needed).
• DEA license required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Examine patient and compile medical data from examinations.
• Order or administer diagnostic tests (x-ray, EKG, labs).
• Develop and implement patient management plans and documentation.
• Provide primary medical direction and coordination of care in occupational health.
• Deliver patient education and ensure quality, compassionate care.
