Job summary

BJC Corporate Health in Occupational Health, located in St. Louis, MO, is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant to support a physician and licensed providers. The MA will assist with clinical duties, maintain exam-room readiness, and contribute to patient care in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• CPR certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate charting in the patient’s record.
• Performs clinical skills, such as phlebotomy, electrocardiography (EKGs), point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls, provide test and lab results to patients and present information to the provider with correct medical terminology.
