Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Florissant, Missouri is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join a great team. The MA provides medical assistance under a physician's direction and performs duties to promote health according to practice protocols and procedures.

Duties include cleaning, preparing and stocking exam rooms; obtaining vital signs and patient history; charting promptly; and phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and point-of-care testing. High school diploma required; no experience needed.

Qualifications

• The Medical Assistant performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, electrocardiography (EKGs), point-of-care testing and injections.
• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies, obtains vital signs and patient history, and maintains accurate charting.
