Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Occupational Health unit in Newark, OH. The role provides patient care under RN supervision, performing vital signs, phlebotomy, ECGs, and sample collection while documenting in EMR.

The ideal candidate has High School diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and BCLS certification. CMA certification is preferred and must be obtained within six months of hire.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Maintains BCLS certification.
• AAMA or AMT CMA certification preferred on hire and required within six months.

Responsabilidades

• Completes patient intake and discharge under physician/NP/RN supervision and documents in medical record.
• Performs basic clinical tasks: checks vital signs, collects specimens, ECG, phlebotomy.
• Assists providers with procedures.
• Responds to emergencies promptly and notifies relevant staff.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and accurate documentation in EMR/paper records.
