Job summary

Conservative Care Occupational Health (CCOH) seeks an APRN/Physician Assistant to join our clinical team in Arkansas. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat workers with injuries, coordinate care with therapy staff and employer partners, and perform occupational exams with emphasis on safe return-to-work.

The role offers autonomy in a mission-driven setting, with DOT and regular documentation in an EMR. Part-time/PRN availability supports Rogers, Van Buren, and Russellville locations with

Qualifications

• NP or PA with active state license.
• DOT NRCME certification or willingness to obtain.
• Board certification or eligibility in Occupational/Family/Emergency/Internal Medicine.
• Ability to diagnose and manage work injuries and musculoskeletal issues.
• Strong clinical judgment and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to accurate documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical evaluations, injury assessments, and return-to-work exams.
• Diagnose and manage work-related injuries and urgent-care concerns.
• Develop treatment plans focused on safe functional recovery.
• Perform DOT physicals, pre-employment exams, IMEs, and medical reviews.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and referrals as needed.
• Document encounters thoroughly in the EMR with accuracy.
• Collaborate with PT, clinic staff, and employer contacts on restrictions.
• Maintain OSHA, DOT, HIPAA, and state medical compliance.
• Provide leadership to Medical Assistants and therapy staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement and workflow development.
