Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Occupancy Planner to deliver tactical planning for global office portfolio management. You will support site assessments, develop long-term space strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders across regions to optimize utilization and occupancy.

The role requires a BA/BS in a related field and 5+ years in corporate real estate, with strong analytical and coordination skills. A comprehensive benefits package is offered with competitive pay.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline (e.g. Architecture, Interior Design, CRE & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management).
  • Minimum of five+ years’ experience in a corporate real estate environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

  • Project space planning and solution development with Senior Occupancy Planners.
  • Client relationship management and project coordination.
  • Site strategy support related to space and occupancy analysis; solution outcomes and utilization metrics.
  • Maintain and analyze BU demand/supply information.
  • Monitor BU demand and supply against approved plan.
  • Work with the client on utilization data and sizing model information.
  • Apply workplace strategy and design standards to long-term planning recommendations.
  • Assess sites and space performance to identify tactical projects and real estate solutions.
  • Create current and forecasted Stack Plans; develop space plans and test fits.
  • Monitor unplanned activity; manage multiple projects across large teams/time zones.

Job Description Summary

The Occupancy Planner delivers tactical planning expertise to manage supply, capacity, and demand across the client’s global office portfolio. In this global role, the OP supports the development of site assessments and recommendations that support informed real estate decisions. The OP partners with stakeholders across regions to deliver planning solutions.

Job Description

Principle Responsibilities

  • Working with Senior Occupancy Planners, activities will consist of project space planning and solution development, project support including client relationship manager and project coordination, site strategy support related to space and occupancy analysis, solution outcomes and utilization metrics.
  • Maintain and analyze BU demand/supply information
  • Monitor BU demand and supply against approved plan
  • Work with the client on utilization data and sizing model information
  • Apply client workplace strategy and design standards to long-term planning recommendations
  • Assess sites and space performance to identify tactical projects and recommend real estate solutions
  • Create current and forecasted Stack Plans
  • Develop space plans and test fits
  • Monitor unplanned activity
  • Develop and expand relationships with key client/site stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve Employee Experience for planning
  • Coordinate with project manager to ensure work is delivered within timeframe and agreed-upon scope
  • Support change management as it pertains to changing workspace and work style
  • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in a related discipline or field of study (i.e. Architecture, Interior Design, Corporate Real Estate & Facilities Management Planning/Coordination, Facilities, Project or Construction Management, etc.)
  • Minimum of five+ years’ experience in a corporate real estate environment
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to develop conclusions and recommendations
  • Maintains a working knowledge of CAFM software, space management systems and relational database functionality.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design
  • Experienced in managing projects of varied scope and complexity
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills
  • Assumes ownership of requests in order to ensure successful completion
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction
  • Ability to work across global time zones and with large teams

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $ 74,800.00 - $88,000.00
