Sharp HealthCare in California is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide evaluations, treatments and education across inpatient and outpatient settings, aligning with the California State Practice Act and Title 16 requirements. Services span acute inpatient, rehabilitation and outpatient care with a focus on patient-centered outcomes.
The position requires AHA BLS, OTR certification, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
Hours: Shift Start Time: 8 AM Shift End Time: 4:30 PM AWS Hours Requirement: 8/40 - 8 Hour Shift Additional Shift Information: Tuesday- Saturday Weekend Requirements: As Needed On-Call Required: No Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $50.640 - $62.040 - $73.420 This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU.
Provides individualized and quality evaluations, assessments, prognoses, treatments and education to meet each patient's needs based on medical necessity and clinical indication in accordance with the Occupational Therapy California State Practice Act and Title 16 requirements. These services will be provided in settings across the entire continuum of care including inpatient acute care, inpatient acute rehabilitation, and outpatient services. Adheres to professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined by department expectations and professional organizations. Maintains productivity, weekend and holiday requirements as specified. Ongoing professional development and continuing education to promote clinical excellence and evidence-based practice. Assists patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
