Job summary

Kalitta Air LLC in Ypsilanti, MI is seeking an OCC Support Supervisor to oversee daily activities of Operations Assistants and ensure accuracy and quality of communications. The role reports to the OCC Support Manager and supports training, coaching and process improvements.

You will promote compliance with procedures, lead training initiatives, monitor performance, and assist with new projects and SOP updates in an office setting.

Qualifications

• Some college and/or technical school is strongly desirable.
• Must have good working knowledge of Kalitta Air cargo operations.
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills required.
• Recent experience as Operations Assistant is strongly desirable.
• Previous leadership experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of information distributed by Operations Assistants (email correspondence, operational messages etc.)
• Provide direction and support to Operations Assistants as needed.
• Monitor team performance and maintain performance records and related documentation.
• Develop and implement ongoing improvement of training programs for Operations Assistants.
• Facilitate the implementation of new projects, SOP updates, process improvements and other departmental initiatives.
• Promote compliance with company policies and established procedures.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by the OCC Support Manager and Leadership.
