Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based leadership in the development and provision of clinical services. Supervises and directs unit personnel.
• Develops and revises care plans with health team members, patients, and families to ensure optimal patient care.
• Ensures compliance with patient safety goals and participates in hospital PI teams to improve care.
• Manages staffing needs based on patient acuity and skills, assigns staff, and oversees scheduling and performance evaluation.
