Job summary
Next Move Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse in Obstetrics to join the Women’s Services team in Danville, Illinois. The role covers labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, gynecologic surgical care, and newborn care with emphasis on maternal-fetal assessment and obstetric emergencies.
Candidates should have at least one year of OB/L&D nursing experience,Illinois RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of one year OB or L&D nursing experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Fetal monitoring competency within last 2 years.
- Strong maternal and fetal assessment skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care during labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes.
- Assist during vaginal deliveries and Cesarean procedures.
- Provide newborn care and family education.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
