Job summary

Adventist Health Delano is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Obstetrics on a 13-week contract in Delano, CA. The role covers labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum and newborn care, collaborating with physicians and CRNAs to ensure safe maternal and infant outcomes.

Requires minimum 2 years OB/L&D experience, acute care hospital background, and EPIC experience preferred. Must be willing to float to Bakersfield as needed; shift schedule is days with 12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years OB/L&D experience
• Acute Care Hospital experience required
• Experience with labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
• EPIC experience preferred (EPIC Backfill Assignment)
• Must be willing to float to Bakersfield as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Work closely with physicians, CRNAs, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe maternal and infant outcomes.
• Float to Bakersfield as needed.
