Job summary

HiredFirst is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Obstetrics (OB) to work in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit at an acute care facility in Delano, California. This role emphasizes postpartum and cesarean section care within a dedicated LDRP area.

The contract is 13 weeks with an ASAP start. Night shifts are offered, 36-hour weeks with option to pick up a fourth shift, and some floating to another facility may be required. Pay is $78–$81 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in obstetrics/nursing.
• Experience in LDRP units preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric RN care in an LDRP unit including postpartum, delivery, and cesarean section support.
• Stabilize and transfer patients as needed.
• Collaborate with surgical and neonatal teams during cesarean births.
