Qualifications

• Current RN license issued by the state or multi-state license via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Advises the Director on staffing, hiring, and recruitment of staff.
• Initiates and maintains personnel records.
• Develops and implements ongoing educational programs including orientation and in-service training.
• Provides feedback on job performance, coaches employees, and conducts evaluations.
• Monitors personnel and budget expenditures and justifies variances.
• Makes budget recommendations for the cost center to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Ensures efficient use of time, materials, and staff to provide quality patient care.
• Communicates with physicians, nurses, and staff to resolve issues.
• Promotes patient satisfaction and a unit culture responsive to patients and families.
• Participates in meetings and training to disseminate information to staff and others.
