• Promotes a positive learning environment in classroom, on-campus labs and clinical sites.
• Advises nursing students on course, program, and career issues.
• Evaluates each student’s achievement and progress.
• Recommends strategies for success and tutors students to assist them in meeting course objectives.
• Instructs nursing students in assigned courses, on-campus labs and/or clinical according to the course plan.
• Reviews class syllabus that follows the designed curriculum plan and explains course requirements.
• Designs and implements teaching strategies that will assist the student in meeting course objectives.
• Directs and supervises the activities of clinical faculty and teaching assistants, if utilized.
