Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support in New Jersey. 24-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM, approximately 5 shifts per month. Responsibilities include labor & delivery, inpatient OB/GYN care, and supervision of Family Medicine residents.

Requirements include Board Certification in OB/GYN, NJ license, and a minimum of 3 years of experience. Credentialing timeframe is 30 days, with Epic EMR used for documentation.

Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician

This facility is seeking anObstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Call 24 Pay Rate: $169.75 - $183.75

• Schedule: 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM), Monday-Sunday; approximately 5 shifts per month.
• Practice Setting: Inpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Hospitalist. Labor & delivery, OB ED, inpatient gynecology consultations, and emergency gynecologic surgery coverage.
• Types of Cases: Triage, labor management, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, postpartum tubal ligations, antepartum/postpartum rounds, ER and inpatient consults, D&C, laparoscopy, laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy or adnexal torsion, hysteroscopy, cone biopsy, circumcisions, and surgical assists. Must be comfortable supervising Family Medicine residents.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications Required: Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) required. Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Licensure Required: New Jersey license
