Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking two Obstetrics Hospitalist Physicians for locum tenens support in Georgia. The positions feature 24-hour shifts from 8a to 8a, with Monday through Sunday coverage, in a Level II NICU setting to assist obstetricians with deliveries and obstetric surgeries. Credentialing is expected in 90–120 days.

Board Certification is preferred, Board Eligible considered. Epic is used as the EMR. AMN provides malpractice insurance and coordinates travel, lodging, and transportation for

Qualifications

• Board certification preferred or board eligible
• 24-hour shifts (8a-8a) including Monday-Sunday
• Level II NICU (10 beds) and Level III NICU (5 beds)
• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days
• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic delivery/surgery for unassigned cases
• Support local obstetricians and manage obstetric admissions
• Coordinate care in a Level II/III NICU setting

This facility is seeking two Obstetrics Hospitalist Physicians for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: : 8a-8a, 24-hour shifts, Monday-Sunday


• Job Setting: Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 10 beds and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unitwith 5 beds


• Type of Cases: providing support and assistance for local obstetricians, handling delivery/surgery of all unassigned Obstetrics and gynecologyneeds that present.


• Credentialing timeframe: 90 to 120 days


• EMR: Epic


• Board Certified preferred, willing to accept Board Eligible
