Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN with active Colorado license.
• Experience with low and high-risk pregnancies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections.
• Conduct gynecological procedures such as IUD placements and cystoscopies.

Are you an OBGYN physician searching for your next exciting locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Colorado might be just the opportunity for you!

Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Hospital Monday-Friday varies, Clinic Monday-Friday 8a-5p, call 1 in 4, clinic days are 4 days per provider.
• Job Setting: Hospital, clinic
• Procedures:

Obstetrics:

Low risk pregnancy - Patients with pre-existing problems, history of twins, toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc.

High risk pregnancy - Patients with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiac issues, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.

FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE

OB ultrasounds - Interpretation (Level I/screening for viability)

Labor and Delivery:

Routine delivery - Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section

Complicated delivery - C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.

Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

Gynecology:

Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.

Surgical gynecology - open

Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chromal tubation

Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's

Minimum Requirements for Consideration

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified OB/GYN (ABMS/AOA)
• Licensure: Active Colorado, will consider IMLC
