Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree REQUIRED
• Board Eligible (to become BC within 3 years of employment) or Board Certified in OB/GYN REQUIRED
• ID license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited obstetrics & gynecology residency program (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) REQUIRED
• DEA (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
• CDS/CSR (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice & License History REQUIRED
• Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) REQUIRED

Job Description:

• Traditional workweek plus call and hospital responsibilities, including evenings and weekends
• Minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week plus rounding and call
• On-call schedule/ratio: 1/6 shared equitably with other employed OB/GYNs
• Average patients a day: 20-25
• Weekend schedule/ratio: 1/6 shared equitably with other employed OB/GYNs
• Opportunity for an OB-GYN seeking a rural-style practice with the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice.
• Strong network of primary care clinics and specialty care providers
• Support includes Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncologist, 4-bed Level II NICU, 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia, Emergency Department, and a SAMG network of 74 Primary & Specialty Care clinics
• Additional support includes Gyn Onc, MFM, Certified Nurse Midwives, Neonatologists, Genetic Counselors, and 24-hour onsite anesthesia coverage on labor and delivery
• OB Hospitalist service available
• NICU team follows a family-centered approach with outcomes exceeding national benchmarks
• Retirement/move is the reason for coverage
• Desired start date: ASAP
• Practice setting: Rounds, Clinic
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC with Dax
• Accepting Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates who will become Board Certified within 3 years of employment.
