This is a regional hospital featuring a 6-bed OB/GYN department. The facility is a non-trauma center that serves the local community with comprehensive women's health services. The hospital offers a supportive environment with an established team dedicated to providing quality patient care in a rural setting.

Opportunity: Board Eligible - Obstetrics and Gynecology

This position is ideal for an OB/GYN physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity in a lower-volume setting with approximately 2-3 patient encounters per shift. Fellowship training is valued, and board eligibility is the minimum requirement for consideration.

Job Details:

• Locum tenens position with approximately 2-3 patient encounters per shift
• 14-day estimated credentialing timeframe
• Required skills include management of low and high-risk pregnancies
• Must be comfortable with routine vaginal deliveries and decision-making for C-sections
• C-section capability required for complicated deliveries
• Preferred skills include FHR interpretation, OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and II)
• Experience with amniocentesis, breech deliveries, multiple births, and abruptions preferred
• Gynecological skills preferred: IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP procedures
• Surgical gynecology experience preferred, including both open and laparoscopic procedures
• Fellowship training is a plus
