OB/GYN Position Overview

This OB/GYN will join an existing practice with 4.5 FTE, with plans to add another 1.0 OB/GYN, resulting in a call schedule of 1:6 upon hiring.

Potentially, the primary work location will be at the St. Mary Medical Center campus, with some time at the Red Lion Site in Northeast Philadelphia. Splitting time depends on patient volume.

Work Schedule and Responsibilities

• Monday to Friday, plus every 6th weekend; alternating 24-hour shifts during the week, followed by a post-call day focused on administrative tasks, not patient care.
• Perform laparoscopic procedures, D&C, and evacuations for missed abortions. Both facilities are equipped with robotic surgery systems, with St. Mary transitioning from the older Si to the Xi system soon, and Nazareth recently acquiring the Xi.

Facility Description

• Level 2 nursery, seeking a permanent OB/GYN.
• Approximately 80% low-risk pregnancies.
• 25-30% C-section rate.
• Utilizes Meditech EMR and has all new office equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range of $320,000 to $350,000, based on experience and training, to be discussed at interview.
