Job description

Location: Kinston, NC (80 miles from Raleigh, NC)

Duration: December - ongoing

Reason for coverage: Relocation & Retirement of OBGYNs

Schedule: Monday to Friday, with Monday as OR Day

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Friday half-day or day off option

Call: 6 a.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Friday, with 1 weekend per month

Scope: OBGYN Clinic and Call. Clinic 3 to 3.5 days per week (Tues-Thurs), averaging 15 patients/day. Monday is OR day. Friday can be half-day clinic or day off. Call is from 6 a.m. Monday to 6 p.m. Friday, with clinic on same campus as hospital for deliveries during clinic hours. Only 1 weekend of call per month. Deliveries at 34+ weeks; high-risk cases managed by MFM in Greenville. 24/7 anesthesia call at the hospital. Note: This call is less intense than typical, as providers can be from home or rental, averaging about 1 delivery per week.

Requirements (boards, license): NC licensed, BC or Truly BE. Must provide case logs of at least 50 deliveries in the past 12 months.
