Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan, offers an excellent full-time opportunity to join our new OB/GYN Hospitalist program. We are seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician.
The OB/GYN department currently includes 6 OB/GYN hospitalists, 24 OB/GYN generalists, 4 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, 29 midwives, and 7 women's nurse practitioners. The physician in this role will collaborate with other physicians and care team members to provide high-quality, patient-centered, compassionate care. Responsibilities include coverage for the labor and delivery unit, managing high-risk obstetrical patients, and providing midwifery backup. The role also involves collaboration with midwives, residents, medical students, and Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, along with consultation for GYN patients in the Emergency Room and performing urgent surgical procedures.
