Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care, including prenatal and postnatal care, family planning, and preventive services.
• Perform routine gynecological examinations, including Pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.
• Diagnose and treat various female reproductive health conditions, such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and ovarian cysts.
• Perform surgical procedures, including C-sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic procedures, and other gynecological surgeries.
• Monitor and manage labor and delivery, including the care of patients in labor, attending deliveries, and performing necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Provide counseling and education to patients on health issues, family planning options, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed, including after-hours emergencies.
• Adhere to medical protocols, safety standards, and ethical guidelines in all aspects of patient care.
