Coverage Needed
- As soon as credentialed - December 2025 (possibly longer)
- Cover 2 locations
- Schedule: Shifts per month needed: 7 - 24hr shifts per month at both sites
- Shift times depend on location: 8am-8am or 7am-7am, to include 1 weekend
Clinical Details
- Inpatient
- 1st location cases: OB and GYN. C sections, minor gyn procedures, and any OB related procedures
- Hospital averages 65 births per month
- 100% hospital based
- OB Hospitalist group sees all unassigned patients
- This position would cover the assigned patients
- No NICU at this location, Newborns needing NICU care are transferred to sister hospital
- 2nd location cases: Inpatient and ED patients, all OB and emergent GYN
- OB GYN available to work independently with a diverse population
- Inpatient volume: 125 monthly births
- NICU level 2
- Patient encounters per shift: 1st location - 8-12 patients in a 24hr shift, 2nd location - 12-18 patients in a 24hr shift
- Types of cases: Standard Laborist Cases
- Support Staff: 1st location - Hospital Nursing Staff and OB Hospitalist who would also be working; 2nd location - Midwives and RN's
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
- Active DE License or IMLC
- Flu vaccine
- Minimum candidate commitment to consider: 6 months
