Job description

OBGYN Physician Locums in North Carolina Beginning August 2025 Assignment # 109030

Start date: 8/1/2025 through 1/2/2026

Shift description: 24-hour call

Details/Requirements:
Board Certified, ACOG certified
Active North Carolina license, NC DEA, NC Medicaid, NC Medicare/PECOS enrolled
Must be fully vaccinated
Actively delivering babies (must submit case logs for past 24 months)
Case logs from the last 2 years (must be from a hospital not an estimate from the provider) required in submission
No Recent or open Malpractice Cases
Include disciplinary actions, if any
Prefer candidates within driving distance

Responsibilities:
Round on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
Available for any emergent GYN procedures.
Call is 20 mins response time per hospital bylaws, Hospital will call cell phone.
High risk deliveries will only be emergent (no NICU at our facility), transferred to other nearby locations
Level 1 nursery
Support staff, 24/7 on call Anesthesiology support, 24/7 on call Radiology support
Average 27 deliveries monthly with average of 11 C-Sections, 3 labor rooms and 14 postpartum
Census is typically 1-3 deliveries/24 hr period.
EMR is MediTech 6.1
