Job summary

Atrium Health Women’s Care Copperfield OBGYN in Kannapolis is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to join a 9-physician, 4-APP team. The practice offers full-scope OB/GYN care with IUD/Nexplanon/EMB procedures and ~100 monthly deliveries at a Level IV NICU.

Onsite collaboration and onboarding support are provided. The role requires 3–5 years of APP experience in Women’s Health, NC licensure, and BLS; DEA/DPS for prescribing is also required to start.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years APP experience required.
• Experience in Women’s Health/O BGYN setting preferred.
• BLS required; DEA/DPS for prescription writing required.

Responsibilities

• Established OB/GYN practice with 3 locations.
• Full spectrum of OB/GYN and Women’s Health conditions.
• IUD, Nexplanon, EMB procedures.

Atrium Health Women’s Care Copperfield OBGYN is actively seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our thriving practice. Northeast OB/GYN is an established practice consisting of 9 physicians, and 4 APPs.

Position Overview

• Established OBGYN practice with 3 locations
• Full spectrum of OBGYN and Women’s Health conditions
• IUD, Nexplanon, EMB procedures
• Averages 100 monthly deliveries at Atrium Health Cabarrus, Level IV NICU

Qualifications

• Minimum Education and Experience Required: 3-5 years of APP experience
• Women’s Health Experience

Physician Assistant (PA) Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master's Degree preferred
• Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, Certified by NCCPA
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.

Nurse Practitioner (NP) Requirements:

• Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program, Master’s degree or higher required
• Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by AANP or ANCC
• Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to start.
• Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing is required to start.
