Job summary

adelphimedicalstaffing is seeking a Board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for locum tenens coverage in Owosso, MI. The role requires providing 24-hour call coverage for labor and delivery with in-house/beeper call and 1:1 call ratio. Credentialing is 1–2 weeks with temporary privileges available.

Must hold active Michigan license and DEA, with BLS. Experience in labor/delivery, phone triage, and D&C procedures is preferred to support inpatient obstetrical care during specified coverage

Qualifications

• Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology is required.
• Active Michigan medical license is required.
• Active DEA license is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for labor and delivery and OB/GYN emergencies.
• Perform phone triage for OB/GYN patients.
• Manage inpatient obstetrical care during coverage periods.
• Perform D&C procedures as clinically indicated.
• Respond to in-house OB/GYN consultations.
