adelphimedicalstaffing is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage in Brattleboro, Vermont. The role includes 24-hour and 12-hour call with weekend and weekday coverage, andsleep-ready on-call duties. Expect high-risk pregnancies and a full spectrum of OB/GYN care in a small center with 7-bed department.

Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered; credentialing is expected within 90 days. Active Vermont license (or IMLC) is required or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Board certification in OB/GYN is required.
• Active Vermont license or equivalent (IME/ IMLC) or willingness to obtain.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour and 12-hour call coverage for OB/GYN services including labor and delivery management.
• Perform routine and complex deliveries, including VBACs and multiple pregnancies.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and nursery admissions; collaborate with CNMs and RNs.
• Perform gynecologic surgeries and office procedures as assigned.

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: 50% low risk pregnancy, 50% high risk pregnancy; 60% GYN Average Daily Volume: 14-16 scheduled patients per day (clinic) Admissions: 1 nursery admission per day Case Mix: Full-spectrum OB/GYN including routine and high-risk deliveries, gynecological surgeries, and office procedures

Required Obstetrics Procedures Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.) FHR Interpretation – NST/CST/FSE OB ultrasounds – Performance of Interpretation OB ultrasounds – Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability) Labor and Delivery Required Procedures Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc. VBAC’s Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Gynecology Required Procedures Office/Minor Gynecology –IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc. Surgical Gynecology – Open Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, LOA’s, Chromal Tubation Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) – Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA’s

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN Licenses: Active Vermont License or Universal License (IMLC) (or willing to obtain) Certifications: BLS, NRP Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history preferred; NPDB self-query report required at presentation

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide 24-hour and 12-hour call coverage for OB/GYN services including labor and delivery management, emergency C-sections, and gynecological emergencies. Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs, multiple births, and repair of lacerations. Conduct inpatient rounds and nursery admissions. Perform gynecological surgeries, including laparoscopic and open procedures, as well as office-based procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.). Collaborate with certified nurse midwives, nursing staff, and support team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
