Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking board-certified obstetrician-gynecologists to fill two internal float pool positions offering flexible schedules across MaineHealth hospitals, including office, gynecologic surgery, and obstetrics.

The roles involve rotating attending duties at multiple facilities with access to Epic EMR and sub-specialty referrals. Candidates should have MD/DO, ABOG certification, and Maine/NH licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • License eligibility in Maine and New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide obstetric and gynecologic care in office, surgery, and obstetrics across MaineHealth locations.
  • Serve as an attending physician in a rotating capacity across MaineHealth hospitals with delivery services.
  • Collaborate with a broad network of specialists and maintain strong patient–physician relationships.

Job description

MaineHealth is seeking a full or part-time BC Obstetrician Gynecologists, for two internal float pool positions. This position provides the opportunity to work at our MaineHealth hospitals in a flexible capacity, including office, gyn surgery and obstetrics. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional care while maintaining a strong work-life balance and a flexible schedule.

The physician will serve as an attending physician in a rotating capacity across all MaineHealth community hospitals with delivery services, including MaineHealth Franklin Hospital in Farmington, MaineHealth Lincoln Hospital in Damariscotta, MaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, MaineHealth Stephens Hospital in Norway, MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, and MaineHealth Memorial Hospital in North Conway, NH.

The ideal candidate is board certified, has 5 or more years of experience in full-scope obstetrics and gynecology and is comfortable practicing independently in rural locations. In addition to excellent clinical skills, we seek a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, who works well in changing team environments.

The annual base salary for this position is $385,000
