Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services in office and hospital settings.
• Conduct preventive care visits, prenatal checkups, and labor and delivery services.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Obtain medical histories, perform physical assessments, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, contraception, menopause, and health maintenance.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate care with other providers.
• Maintain electronic medical records and participate in call schedules.
• Mentor medical students and APPs, contributing to quality improvement.

Our client, a well-established women's health practice known for its patient-centered approach and collaborative environment, is hiring a full-time Obstetrician Gynecologist (OBGYN) Physician. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a supportive clinical setting. The chosen candidate will deliver evidence-based, patient-focused services, spanning preventive care, prenatal management, labor and delivery, gynecological procedures, and the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of women's health conditions. The practice emphasizes clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate patient care, making it an ideal environment for both experienced physicians and recent graduates committed to advancing women’s health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services in both office and hospital settings.
• Conduct preventive care visits, wellness exams, prenatal checkups, and labor and delivery services.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Obtain detailed medical histories, perform physical assessments, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care throughout the patient’s healthcare journey.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, contraception, menopause, and health maintenance.
• Prescribe medications and other therapies as clinically indicated.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
• Participate in shared night and weekend call schedules.
• Supervise and collaborate with clinical staff, including nurses and medical assistants.
• Mentor medical students and advanced practice providers, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
• Support practice growth by developing lasting patient relationships and delivering exceptional care.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency program.
• Eligibility for an unrestricted New York State medical license.
• Strong clinical skills in obstetrics and gynecology, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Preferred experience in a group practice setting, with advanced training or experience in minimally invasive and laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries.
