Job summary

Nemours Children's Hospital in Delaware is seeking a well-qualified Obstetrician to join the Institute for Maternal Fetal Health in Wilmington. The program provides highly specialized maternal-fetal care, fetal intervention services, and delivery management for pregnancies with fetal congenital anomalies and other complex conditions.

The Advanced Delivery Unit operates on a 24/7 Laborist model, supported by in-house anesthesia coverage, a dedicated NICU delivery team, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Qualifications

• Obstetrician with interest in maternal-fetal health and high-risk pregnancies.
• Experience in labor and delivery management is preferred.
• Physician must be board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Delivery Unit operates on a 24/7 Laborist model with in-house anesthesia coverage and NICU delivery team.
• Program is expanding with plans to increase to two Laborists on duty 24/7.
• Full time, part time, and casual positions available.
