Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Advanced Delivery Unit on a 24 hours per week rotating schedule. The RN will implement the patient care delivery model and be accountable for assessing, planning, providing and evaluating care for assigned patients and families.

Responsibilities include clinical judgment, inquiry, caring practices, diversity, advocacy, collaboration, and systems thinking.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the appropriate state is required.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider certification required.
• L&D, OR (circulating), triage, and antepartum experience required.
• ASN is required; BSN must be achieved within 3 years of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Independently develops, implements, evaluates, and modifies clinical practice to meet patient and family needs.
• Collects and interprets complex patient data; focuses on key elements of the situation for the patient population.
• Coaches new graduates and clinical students.
• Identifies clinical questions; seeks information to improve patient care; participates in governance to improve practice.
• Maintains compassionate care, prioritizes patient needs, and ensures appropriate boundaries with patients and families.
