Qualifications
- Supervise and lead nursing staff on the Obstetric Unit.
- Coordinate continuing education and staff development plans.
- Evaluate performance and approve leave requests as part of supervisory duties.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and leadership of subordinate staff on the Obstetric Unit.
- Oversee Obstetric Unit Nursing Education and Internship program; approve orientation plans.
- Facilitate staff participation in in-services and continuing education; schedule development programs.
- Perform nursing care duties as needed to maintain skills and cover staffing shortages.
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients with complex conditions and emergencies.
- Administer medications as ordered and monitor side effects.
