Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist (OB) PRN to join a collaborative team dedicated to newborn care and obstetric surgery. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist with procedures, maintain sterile technique, and support the obstetric team to ensure compassionate, safe care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Surgical Technologist certification (ST) or CST certification.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping to ensure comfort and safety.
• Providing instruments and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, ensuring instruments function properly.
• Delivering patient-centered care with the surgical team.
