Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking an experienced OB RN to provide safe, timely nursing care for obstetric triage, outpatient evaluation, and scheduled procedures. You will perform focused maternal/fetal assessments, prioritize care, and ensure documentation and charge capture.

In low-volume periods, you will support admissions, IV access, patient flow, and may assume charge responsibilities. Requires RN licensure in SC or compact state and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, and a minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and patient-centered nursing care for obstetric triage, outpatient evaluation, and scheduled procedures.
• Perform focused maternal and fetal assessments and document orders and dispositions.
• Support admissions, IV access, patient flow, and charge responsibilities as needed.
