Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Direct and lead other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs; assess, diagnose, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate goals.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and uphold professional behaviour; participate in governance, peer review, and professional development.
• Coordinate delivery of patient care through care management principles and identify priorities to improve outcomes.
• Participate in a professional practice model and promote a healthy work environment.
