Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
- Fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesiology or significant obstetric anesthesia experience.
- Eligible for unrestricted Texas medical licensure.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for labor analgesia and cesarean deliveries, including obstetric emergencies.
- Deliver evidence-based obstetric anesthesia to routine and high-risk patients.
- Participate in a dedicated labor and delivery anesthesia service with 24/7 physician coverage.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, maternal-fetal medicine, neonatology, nursing and perioperative teams to optimize outcomes.
- Support rapid response for obstetric and peripartum emergencies.
