Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. is seeking staff anesthesiologists with an obstetric fellowship or equivalent to join our growing academic department.

The obstetrics service handles about 5,000 deliveries per year, including high-risk cases, and a perioperative volume exceeding 40,000 cases across specialties such as gynecology, neurosurgery and vascular surgery.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in OB anesthesia or equivalent.
• New graduates welcome.

Responsabilités

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative care for obstetric anesthesia patients.
• Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans for obstetric cases.
• Make informed decisions about diagnostic and therapeutic interventions based on patient information, evidence and clinical judgement.
• Develop and carry out patient management plans and educate patients and families.
• Participate in education of obstetric anesthesia fellows, residents and medical students.
