Obstetric Anesthesiologist
Position Overview

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an obstetric anesthesiologist to join its growing team at our Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–Cedar Crest and LVH–Muhlenberg campuses.

• Collaborate with our in-house obstetricians, midwives, and residents available 24/7 at both campuses, as well as our maternal fetal medicine specialists, with fellowship opportunities.
• Contribute to meeting women’s obstetric and gynecologic needs by joining a team that performs over 4,500 deliveries annually at both campuses.
• Work in an environment with 10 labor and delivery rooms at each location, a Level IV NICU at LVH–Cedar Crest, a Level II NICU at LVH–Muhlenberg, and a remodeled unit at LVH–Cedar Crest scheduled for completion in June 2025.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams addressing cardiac disease in pregnancy, neurologic disease in pregnancy, and complex obstetric surgical procedures.
• Opportunities to lead teams within LVHN’s department of obstetrics and gynecology, emphasizing support, innovation, patient care, and physician well-being.
